Our History

How it Started

In 1945, Carolina Pad™ founder Joseph K. Hall began selling school supplies out of the back of his truck. He wanted students to get quality school products at a fair price. Carolina Pad is now one of the fastest growing stationery companies in the world. Our school, office, and arts and crafts products can be found at Office Max, Staples, Target, Wal-Mart, and other stores in the U.S.

We're based in Charlotte, North Carolina, and also have offices in Hong Kong and Shanghai.
